The dishes here are not only plentiful but also vary in flavors and presentation, especially the famed loco moco and corned beef hash. And let’s not forget the café’s charming ambiance, punctuated by the antics of friendly chickens wandering about and the occasional gecko joining onlookers for a tableside chat. This adds an element of whimsy, ensuring that your lunch or dinner is not just a meal but a delightful outing.

“ On the Waianae coast, you'll find this cafe tucked on the bend. I must say, you have to sample their whole menu. Maybe not in one sitting, but definitely must try all. Only suggestion I would give, is if their is an opportunity to be seated inside, do it. As outside can sometimes be windy and insects may be bothering you while eating as if you're camping. But other then that. Definitely coming back. ”
“ As usual, I am never disappointed in this cafe. The food is always excellent as well as the atmosphere and service. Today, they were short staffed and very busy, but all the staff from the kitchen, etc. pulled together to help the one server that I could tell was running the tables. Teamwork at its finest! It is always a pleasure to stop in for excellent food and a friendly atmosphere. If you're visiting the area, make sure to check the hours as they are not open all day. They have indoor and outdoor seating. You will not regret stopping in. ”
“ As a lover of both corned beef hash and loco moco, it was like something out of a dream that this place had a combination of those two things. The gravy was more of a country style gravy than the more typical brown gravy, but I'm not complaining--it was delicious. Despite what another review says I don't think the atmosphere left anything to be desired, it was great! It seemed to me like it was equally a locals spot and a place where visitors can grab a delicious meal alongside them. Plus there were chickens walking around which was great entertainment, and even a gecko hanging out on our neighbors table. All of that on top of friendly and quick service ”
“ Loved the local vibe of this little gem. Had to have a loco moco and it did not disappoint. Perfectly seasoned homemade burger patty over delicious homemade gravy. I opted for the fried rice and it was amazing. Only a slight issue. It was a bit smokey from the kitchen cooking area. Option to sit outside is there if you need clean air. ”
“ Tourist review: incredibly nice cozy little area. The food was delicious! I got the Countryside Steak and it was great. The morning I went was a little busy and it looked like they were understaffed but the 2 waitresses were professional and courteous. The food did take long to be prepared but I did not mind waiting. If you need a quick meal, probably order ahead or go somewhere that is known for fast meals. ”
“ The adobo fried rice was yummy and the portions were large. It was 2-3 meals for me. My son ordered the corned beef loco moco and he couldn't finish all of it and took 1/4 of it home. We will definitely cone back to sample the rest of their menu. ”
“ The menu has tons of options so you'll likely find something for everyone! Our family got the corned beef hash, meat lovers scrambler, and buttermilk pancakes. The corned beef hash is good but keep in mind it is made with spam (in case you don't like spam). It was a bit salty for us. Buttermilk pancakes are super fresh and fluffy Meat lovers scrambler was cooked beautifully with lots of flavor. The potatoes were seasoned well and not overcooked - soft and delicious! Will definitely be back for lunch! ”
“ I lived here 8 years and been to many places, but this is by far the best breakfast I’ve had. I had the shrimp and mushrooms which I highly recommend (it’s a good sized portion meant for 2 as a starter but big enough to be entree for 1) Then I had the meat lovers scramble which was simple and delicious. ”
